There is a particular ease to Mallorca in October. The light turns softer, the air is clear in the mornings, and after the long summer the island seems to find its own rhythm again. The beaches are quieter, the countryside invites a slower walk, and there is still enough warmth in the afternoon to linger over lunch outside.
Autumn is also a time when Mallorca’s towns gather around the things they make and grow. Early in the month, fairs in Alcúdia and Esporles bring local food, crafts and familiar faces into the streets. The month’s cultural calendar moves easily from the open road to the city.
