A finalist in the International Design and Architecture Awards 2025, this striking seafront villa in Puerto Pollensa presents the creative vision of acclaimed interior designer Justine Knox. Known for her ability to combine elegance with liveability, Justine has transformed the traditional property into a glamorous, multi-generational retreat. Bespoke living design
“In this project I selected everything from the window frames to the flooring, to the paint colours and the door furniture. I designed the three kitchens, the bar area, wardrobes and dressing room cabinetry in this villa and had it all bespoke made and fitted,” explains Justine. Her meticulous attention to detail defines the Puerto Pollensa villa, where she guided every stage of the transformation.
One of her most decisive interventions was repositioning the kitchen to the seafront, opening it to the bay views. “My clients called me from a holiday in Barbados to say they finally felt excited about their project,” she recalls. By walking herself through floor plans as if she were living in them, Justine ensures that every space responds to her clients’ lives, not just their brief.
Glamour in detail
Although celebrated for her vibrant use of colour, Justine shifted direction here, embracing a glamorous yet refined palette of soft neutrals, layered with rich textures, statement lighting, and accents of bronze, nickel and gold. Bespoke cabinetry, sumptuous fabrics and carefully orchestrated illumination create drama and depth while reflecting the natural beauty of the coastline.
A private lift links the villa’s multiple floors, culminating in a spectacular guest suite with panoramic windows, an outdoor jacuzzi and a lounge area perfect for sunset views. At garden level, the shimmering pool is complemented by a full outdoor kitchen and industrial barbecue that invite relaxed Mediterranean entertaining.
From statement staircases to tailored dressing rooms, every element carries Justine’s signature of individuality and polish.
