Arclinea opens its showroom in Palma

Under the management of Stork and the design of Antonio Citterio, the Italian cuisine firm enters the scene among the big openings on Mallorca.

Arclinea, leader in Italian kitchen furniture, strengthens its presence in Spain with the opening of a new showroom in Calle Andrea Doria, in the heart of Palma. This milestone, under the expert management of Stork – a renowned group specialising in complete furniture and interior design – extends Arclinea’s presence in Barcelona and Marbella, consolidating its impact in leading cities in the world of design.

With almost a century of experience, Arclinea has established itself as a benchmark in kitchen furniture and has been a pioneer since its beginnings in collaborations with renowned architects such as Antonio Citterio, with whom it has been working since 1987 producing equipment, furniture and showrooms. Arclinea has been a trendsetter in fusing industrial functionality with elegance, bringing the gastronomic kitchen into the home.

The new showroom, designed by Citterio’s studio, reflects the essence of Arclinea, using the same distinctive materials and colours present in its renowned brand stores in Paris, Milan and New York. At 400 square metres, it showcases three large main kitchens and a back kitchen, displaying models that can be found without modification in the island’s grand estates and villas.

“Far from presenting conventional kitchens with basic finishes and explaining to the customer potential changes, we have chosen to show the best of the best in terms of size, finishes and appliances,” explains Fabio Stork, marketing manager of the Stork Group.

In addition, the showroom has a large meeting room equipped with all the materials offered by the manufacturer, such as wood, stone and metal. This space is presented as a versatile resource for developers and architects interested in the brand and its clients. It can be used for show cooking, cocktail and barista classes, as well as events with appliance manufacturers.

The inauguration of Arclinea not only symbolises a milestone for the firm but also for the very identity of Palma, consolidating it as a leading design and lifestyle destination. Michela Raoss, Arclinea’s marketing director, highlights the importance of the city as a “thriving and vibrant international hub”, where they have found the right partner in the Stork Group, with whom they have been working exclusively in the Balearic Islands for the past decade.

Being managed by Stork, the showroom is home to other international brands that the group represents on the islands, such as Vitra, Knoll, USM and Carl Hansen. These brands, which are also displayed in its space in the Mallorca Design District in Santa Ponça, add a distinctive touch, enriching the showroom’s offering.

The official opening of Arclinea by Stork took place on 22 February 2024. It was attended by the Stork team and the outstanding presence of Federico Fortuna, Arclinea representative and business developer manager, who represents the fourth generation of the founding family of the Italian kitchen firm.
