How to lose 3 kilos in 5 days!

A post-Christmas weight loss challenge

Target: Lose 3 Kilos in January …..

The celebrations are over and it’s time to pay the price for all the Roses chocolates I’ve eaten over the past weeks. The diet starts today!

I know the only way to do this is to eat considerably less and do some cardio workouts. So this morning my breakfast consisted of a fresh orange juice and a green tea.

I’ve done one hour in the gym – doing 10 minute sessions on the cross-trainer, 10 minutes aerobics with Tracy Anderson video and 10 minutes of squats (which is really difficult but great for the bum) and finally 10 minutes on the running machine.  I can’t say I’m feeling on top of the world, particularly when I look in the mirror 🙁 but at least I’ve made a start!

For lunch I’m having a homemade vegetable soup and for dinner a grilled chicken fillet with some veg.  Hopefully I’ll be able to resist all the sweet stuff that is still in the cupboard (perhaps I should give theses away – difficult to part with Jaffa Cakes!).

If any one also needs to drop a few kilos after Christmas – do let me know your tips and lets see if we can motivate each other…….

I’ll keep you posted on how I get on each day – it might just help me stay focused!!!
