Dioh!, Dareels & Diho Contract

The striking Dareels showroom in Manacor stands as a testament to the vision and creativity of husband-and-wife duo Cristina and Toni, co-founders of Dioh! and Diho Contract. Once a motorbike workshop, the space has been reimagined as an inspiring interior design destination, showcasing a beautifully curated collection of solid teak furniture, original sofas, natural textiles, and one-of-a-kind accessories. In the so-called “lung” of the showroom, beneath a dramatic ceiling installation of dried flowers, a round table invites visitors to embrace a slow-living philosophy prioritising quality, sustainability, and sophisticated design. “I always need a new goal,” admits Toni about opening the exclusive Dareels Mallorca branch. “When something works, I’m already thinking about the next project.” Their portfolio of boutique hotels, VIP lounges, and stunning private homes shows just how successfully the interior design specialists have risen to every challenge.

Contract and private commissions

The dynamic Mallorcan couple met just days before Toni launched Diho Contract, with Cristina – then a special education teacher – witnessing its evolution from day one. From selling exterior furniture to taking on bespoke hotel refurbishments and opening their first interior design shop, Dioh!, they’ve embraced every challenge as an opportunity to grow. Toni continues to focus on large-scale contract projects. Collaborations on The Juz de Yartan Art Hotel by Marga Rotger, The Bocoi restaurant by Vicenç Mulet, The Alcazar Hotel Soller by Carles Grauches and the new Aethos Hotel with Maru Drusetta, are proof of the team’s excellent reputation in the real estate and building sectors.

Cristina leads private commissions, working closely with architects, developers, and individual clients. “My ideal project is a new-build house – a blank canvas – where I’m given free rein to create,” she says. Walking us through an upcoming project storyboard, Cristina highlights bespoke cabinetry, thoughtful lighting, sumptuous fabrics, and handmade ceramics that bring her vision to life. “From the moment a client walks through our doors, we take care of everything,” she explains, from coordinating craftsmen to sourcing unique pieces and overseeing final styling. Their deeply personal, hands-on approach combines trusted artisanship and premium brands to balance comfort, sustainability, and elegance.

Workshops and community

Beyond design, Cristina and Toni are passionate about cultivating a vibrant creative community through intimate workshops like candle-making and flower arranging. Additionally, the idea was to create sensory experiences with their most loyal suppliers and collaborators, give a different perspective on the world of interior design. This vision was beautifully realised in their pop-up event at Bodega Tianna Negre, organised by Jessica Pou from their creative and communications department. It was an experience of wine, gastronomy, and furniture, all connected by a common thread: duality, zero-kilometer sourcing, a connection with nature and the landscape, and simplicity as a holistic concept. Within this context, Dareels transformed the space.
