The word vacation has always unleashed a magical feeling in us humans. How can this feeling be best described and which details of the experience will remain engraved in our brains forever? These were a few of the questions CARLO asked themselves, as they took on the project and conceptualized the core values of the proposal since A GUEST LODGE was to evoke precisely that: an atmosphere that sparks the feeling of vacation.
The apartment would receive exclusive guests as well as close family friends and provide them with a break from everyday life as they dive into the most precious memories from our client’s favourite places, perpetuated in each chamber. The calming sensation of her childhood days spent carefree surrounded by the Swiss Alps inspired us just as much as the enthusiastic remarks of her children, who preferably enjoy their vacations surfing on the Spanish Atlantic coast.
Amid this potpourri – featuring the finest handcraft, inspirations and materials from all over the globe – giving into the enchanting feeling of vacation will come naturally when touching the different surfaces and glancing into the magnificent details of each chamber.
