Carde believes that hotels can truly make a difference by offering, not just a place to stay, but a space for rejuvenation. Her team specialise in holistic hotel design, best human energy solutions and hotel brand development. Formerly, she designed the internationally recognised flagship of the Barefoot Hotel in partnership with filmmaker and actor, Til Schweiger. Her concepts are rooted in the story of each special place and empowered by the intention to let humans thrive.
Her international expert team delivers energy solutions based on Sacred Geometry, Feng Shui, geopathic harmonisation, colour concepts, energetic furniture design and quantum solutions. She pays close attention to materials, light, scents, textures and colours. Each element can work to balance and ground guests profoundly, creating a positive effect beyond their stay in the hotel.
Carde and her team design many of the furniture and decorative pieces themselves. Her inspiration comes from the diverse places where she has lived, from Cape Town to San Francisco to the Mediterranean Islands.
“Our surroundings affect us up to our cellular level,” she says, “and creating the best positive surroundings is my deepest passion.”
She embraces new quantum solutions that empower the natural frequency in rooms. “I have sat down with the genius minds who develop these devices to fully understand what works best,” she says, evidence of her integrity and genuine desire to improve her client’s lives.
