‘Alix of Bohemia’ at Mansion Dux

A beautiful collection of clothes that evoke wonder, whimsy and play

On 3rd October, the clothing brand Alix of Bohemia presented their beautiful collection of hand-made, free-spirited garments. Each one individually made to order, designer Alix Verley-Pietrafesa and partner Sebastian Kaufman welcomed fellow fashionistas on the island to browse their newest work at Mansion Dux. The stately mansion was the perfect backdrop to Alix’s palette of Mediterranean colours, floral prints and exquisite stitching.

“These are clothes that make you feel free, they facilitate a lifestyle. Each garment is one of a kind, I’d rather focus my time making one really detailed design that looks great than much more at lesser quality” says Alix.

Over 40 invitees arrived early afternoon to enjoy a delicious Mediterranean lunch (prepared by Alix herself), which was then followed by another wave of invitees for evening cocktails.
