The mountainous beauty, combined with sun, sea and sand, provides an ideal and close oasis where we can spend extended periods with family and friends visiting, and time together in the years to come. We chose an apartment in Nova Santa Ponsa, which offers the outdoor tranquillity we love, with the urban sophistication and enchantment of Palma on our doorstep. We were delighted that finding, purchasing and then renovating our apartment was seamless, with an abundance of professional services and quality workmanship.

For the foreseeable future, as our children marry and with the arrival of our first grandchild, we will be making extended trips in the spring and autumn, but having the opportunity to come and go as we please is ideal for us.”

“After 15 years of living and working in China, it was time for us to return to Europe. Mallorca had long been our vision of a place to come home to — our family hub.

Today, Mallorca is home. From our studio, anySCALE Architecture Design in Palma, we deliver projects across the island and in Germany, while continuing to lead our offices in Shanghai and Beijing together with long-standing partners.”

“My parents first bought a home here in 1965, so it has always been part of my life. Hospitality and entertainment have shaped my career, from working in our family hotel and training at the Arts Educational Theatre School in London to roles in the holiday industry, Alpine hotels and eventually the yachting sector, where I met my husband and settled in the village of Es Capdella.

Giving our children the freedom we had, along with the opportunity to be trilingual, enjoy a wide range of sports and grow up within such a welcoming culture, was the best decision we ever made. They are now both qualified chefs travelling the world with an abundance of talent and social confidence.

I love that you can reinvent yourself here without judgement, only encouragement! Being involved in community events as an entertainer for the past 23 years has allowed me to give something back to this incredible island and its people. It is very rare for visitors to come only once — there is truly something for everyone.”
