After years of working together on high-end residential and hotel projects in Mallorca, architect Inés Rodríguez Ripoll and interior designer Mario Carreto Casado present Interiorismo 81, a firm specialising in comprehensive interior design. Their approach is based on a single idea: the most special spaces are those in which architecture and interior design are inextricably linked, creating an experience from the initial concept right through to the very last detail. With complementary career paths and a shared sensibility, they offer a holistic and personalised approach, guiding clients through the process of creating their home.
Interiorismo 81 was founded on the experience and complementary skills of its founders. Having led Arquitectura 81 for over twenty years, Inés brings a technical perspective and expertise in residential and hospitality projects, striking a balance between creativity, functionality and feasibility. Mario, who trained in Italy and has experience in set design, interior design, joinery and fabrication, brings a focus on atmospheres, materials and bespoke solutions tailored to each project.
Their experience in the hospitality sector has reinforced a philosophy centred on creating memorable experiences, which they bring to the residential sector. The studio offers a comprehensive service ranging from spatial concept and lighting to the selection of materials, bespoke furniture design, furnishing and styling, ensuring that every element is coordinated.
Lighting takes centre stage: designed to transform the perception of space, shape volumes and evoke emotions, it is studied with the same rigour as architecture and interior design. For Inés and Mario, luxury lies in creating unique, personal and timeless homes, where every decision serves a purpose and architecture, interior design and craftsmanship come together in harmony. They are committed to a design that is approachable, comprehensive and personalised, because an exceptional home is defined by how it is lived in.
