Well-known Sóller Valley artist Francesca Martí presented her new project ‘Kingfisher’ at the Gerhard Braun Gallery in Palma. Guests attending the inauguration enjoyed a welcome cocktail and live music as they had the opportunity to peruse this popular artist‘s latest works.
Francesca Martí‘s project ‘Kingfisher’ presents her global vision of the mass migration today towards cities.
These populations on the move – animal or human – often find themselves on an unsuspected voyage with an end that is uncertain.
Martí has worked with the concept of information transmission for some time and, for years, has collected satellite dishes to paint as backdrops to the reflection of her personal vision of modern-day problems.
The Gerhardt Braun Gallery in C/ Sant Feliu has most of Martí‘s most recent works on show.
