A 13 million euro refurbishment wows guests
On Friday, October 4, Sheraton Mallorca Arabella Golf Hotel finally opened its doors after nine months of refurbishment. Arabella Hospitality, the hotel division of the German Group Schörghuber and owner of the property, invested around 13 million euros in the complete reformation of the 5-star establishment.
Alexandra Schörghuber, chairwoman of the Schörghuber Foundation and Oscar del Campo, Area General Manager of the Starwood properties on Mallorca, hosted a magical night full of surprises and glamour. After a welcome cocktail, a tour around the new facilities, and the speeches of both hosts, the doors of the two restaurants were opened simultaneously to delight guests with a first-class buffet.
The highlight of the evening was a spectacular light show on the façade of the hotel, which guests could enjoy from their seats in the pool area. The entire hotel’s lights were turned off and reality and fiction merged to become a totally breathtaking show. The evening was all about awakening your five senses – a goal that was more than fulfilled by Mallorca’s newly re-opened Sheraton hotel. A great success.
