It was a memorable presentation for the well-known Irish designer who has such a distinct style with a throw-back to the 1960’s where it look more like a reenactment of series one of Mad Men with every retro detail to authenticate the scene.
The models entered, hung their beautiful wool coats on wall hangers and proceeded to sit at their desk and type which answering turn-dial telephone to the music of a typing pool in the background.
The clothes were Orla Kiely to a T….., gathered skirts with little tweed jackets. Ruffled blouses over a-line wool skirts and beige cardigans. I would love to fill my winter 2013 wardrobe with the whole collection – I love it!
