Joan Bennàssar returns to Rialto Living

Celebrated Mallorcan artist exhibits works and signs new book

The gallery space at Rialto Living again hosted an event featuring the work of esteemed Mallorcan artists, Joan Bennàssar. It is his second exhibition this year held at the Palma’s lifestyle store, though this time he was also there to promote and sign his new book: ‘Latir de remos golpeando el mar’ or ‘The rhythm of oars breaking into the sea’.

The Pollensa-born painter cites the likes of Bacon and Picasso as major influences, and refers to his style as ‘primitivism‘.
