Intelligent, sexy, talented and enduringly entertaining. Who wouldn’t want a Digital Cinema set up to partner them at home? Your stunning piece of kit not only looks good, but has the capabilities to match. And it is designed especially for you.
One of Mallorca’s most Bond-worthy addresses was started by just one person, a visionary German with the help of a skilful technician, who more than 10 years ago found themselves in just the right place, at the right time, to start what would become a prodigious audio-visual firm. The advent of digital created widespread demand for integrated home entertainment systems; all the driven pair had to do was seize the perfect opportunity to deliver the technology. There was nobody else on Mallorca doing what Digital Cinema did.
In 2016, the company’s sleek Jaume III showroom is the workplace of a pluri-cultural mix of nine talented people from Germany, England and Spain, handling every element from advice and consultation to installation, programming and maintenance, in three languages.
Reverence for the clearest, crispest sound and images paired with beautifully simple usability have led the nine – music and tech geeks in the best sense – to install smart house systems in some of the choicest venues and addresses on Mallorca.
“Music fascinates me,” says Patrick L. Popp. “I went to music school and am a pianist. I grew up among classical music people who valued pristine, pure sound.”
Now, Patrick leads his team to work their magic in the chicest hotels and stores; the classiest residences and most prestigious yachts. Today’s modern client – both high calibre and more ordinary – simply doesn’t have the time or inclination to spend figuring out a set of complex controls for their TV, music and satellite systems, lighting, video surveillance, or internet set up. Understanding this, Digital Cinema makes user-friendly installations that, at the flick of a switch, make life more convenient.
Demand for rapid and effective home automation is ever growing, and this locally-started island provider sets the benchmark. If Bond himself were looking for audio visual, he’d go to Digital Cinema.
