abcVIP Club, in conjunction with Sportstainment, successfully launched its abc VIP Club Golf & Friends series of seven tournaments on September 1^st 2011. The inaugural tournament, of nine holes, took place at Son Muntaner Golf Club www.sonmuntanergolf.com, where participants played the new PowerPlay Golf, which gives a choice of two flags on each green. In tandem with the tournament, there was an Academy, offering two hours’ tuition for those wanting to learn or improve their game. After the golf, the prize-giving ceremony and cocktail gave participants a chance to chat and meet other golfers.
